My name is Stuart Goodfield, and I live in a small town, called Stroud, in the county of Gloucestershire, South West, United Kingdom.

With me, lives my wife Janine (Gin to her friends), daughter Jade, son’s Jon and Ashley.

Also sharing the house, is 2 dogs, Growler the Rottweiler, Saffy the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, 2 cats, Diesel and Lucky, 2 budgies, Dumplin and Suet and approx 55 coldwater fish outside in pond.

Over the years, I have had many a hobby, but the one that remains constant, is Amateur Radio.

My shack at the moment, is my front room which is shared with the wife and tv, but am working on moving rooms, as soon as I have had a clearout.

Equipment that I use, is a Kenwood Tr751e 2m multi, for local chit chat with friends, Icom Ic706 Mk1 which a good friend of mine, Rich has loaned me, to go into my truck, when I get around to fitting it and my latest purchase, is a Yaesu Ft847 Earth Station, which I am chuffed to monkies with.

My antenna’s are a simple few, I have a full length G5rv for Hf, Cross Yagi for 2m Ssb and a triband colinear for 2m/70cms and 6m
